What you can do

Under CC BY-NC 4.0, you are free to:

  • Use FresnelPath and its outputs for any non-commercial purpose — internal engineering, academic research, community network planning, personal projects, open-source development.
  • Share the tool, screenshots, reports, and analysis outputs with attribution.
  • Adapt the code — fork it, extend it, build on it — for non-commercial purposes, provided you credit the original and do not restrict others' access under a more restrictive license.

"Non-commercial" means you are not using the tool primarily to generate revenue. Internal engineering analysis at a private company is generally commercial use. Academic or NGO use is generally non-commercial. If you are unsure, ask.

What requires a commercial license

A commercial license is required for:

  • Using FresnelPath analysis output in paid consulting or planning deliverables for clients
  • Embedding FresnelPath functionality in a commercial SaaS or software product
  • Hosting a modified version of FresnelPath for paying users
  • Reselling access to FresnelPath's hosted analyzer

Commercial licenses are available. Pricing depends on the use case and scale. Contact us using the form on the press page.
